This place has a charming location, close to shops and eateries, making it super convenient. The air conditioning worked well during our hot stay, though the shower could use better pressure. Basic kitchen utilities are handy, but some added amenities would be nice for longer stays. It’s adequate and cozy!

I was eager to visit the Beechworth Chinese Gardens, drawn by its serene beauty and rich history, which I had long wanted to experience. I chose the Carriage specifically for its convenient location, and I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary laundry and bicycle storage facilities. This was especially useful after a day of exploring wineries in the nearby Rutherglen region, where I got to indulge in local delicacies surrounded by stunning landscapes.
One of the beds in the room had a wild loose spring that made it completely inappropriate for sleeping in, which was quite the downside. Thankfully, there were more beds than people in the room;

The hotel with well-appointed and air-conditioned rooms, in a really quiet area, in the centre of town. The staff was accommodating and location was excellent. Easy check-in, easy check-out.
A little small room.

The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, offering a good night’s rest. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a lifesaver during the hot weather.
Rude reception, lack of parking control. 😕.

The bed I tried was a nightmare—one loose spring made it impossible to sleep comfortably. Luckily, we had extra beds, but it felt awkward sharing. That's not what I hoped for, especially when looking for a good night's rest!

We stayed for a weekend getaway, and I must say, the location was fantastic—just a short walk to local dining options. The room was spacious and had a warm, inviting atmosphere with lovely views of tree-lined streets. We appreciated the cleanliness and the comfortable environment for a family stay. The peaceful setting allowed us to enjoy restful nights away from city noise.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

We had a really enjoyable stay in this fascinating a beautiful Goldfields town.
The hotel was placed in the central location in a lovely neighbourhood. It was good sized, beautifully maintained and with a spacious feel because of high ceiling. The staff was very amiable and especially helpful and gave us great advices.

The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the heat, and we enjoyed relaxing by the outdoor pool. Exploring the charming main street and nearby landmarks was a delight for our family, though we faced a few issues with the shower and parking. while it needs some TLC, the location and warm service make for a worthwhile visit.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to all the historical landmarks and local eateries. Staff were friendly and accommodating, making check-in a breeze.
The breakfast option could benefit from having more variety or fresh items available.
