Very small, pokey bathroom-though scrupulously clean
Beechworth Celtic Festival weekend. Friendly accommodating staff. Excellent room service. They even washed the windscreen of my car every morning.
The motor inn is right in town - you did not have to take the car every time you went out. The staff was so friendly, one even cleaned our wind-screen before we left. Nothing was too much to ask for yet they left you alone when you wanted some peace and quiet. We even had a room service meal that was delicious and it worked out much cheaper than a pub meal. This was our second stay here and we will be back again.
Rooms are a little dark. You need the light on even in the day.
good location as just off of main drag for restaurants etc.
spa was old and very noisy, couldnt be adjusted and would just stay in A standard room next time.
Neat, clean, tidy and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Close to Beechworth town centre
everything - friendliest place I have ever stayed [owner cleaned my car windows!]
nothing - loved it
Friendly staff and cleaning the car windscreen overnight was a nice touch.
Staff are brilliant.
They dont do a King Size bed.
It was a decent sized room with everything you needed. I also liked the way the manager put the heater on for our welcome. The building was newly renovated and very attractive decor. The managers were very friendly and helpful about suggesting places to eat.
I'm pretty fussy about cleanliness and it really wasn't very clean. We also had ants in our room and when I enquired about this with reception I was told that they come sometimes and there was a can of spray in the cupboard. Also the wi-fi can only be used with computers and not phones.
Quiet and very suitable for our trip. We liked our car window being cleaned
The staff are very friendly and the location of the motel is well positioned to walk into the township of Beechworth. Heating in the room was excellent as we where there in August a very cold month The shower was great ,never ran out of hot water
Our mattress was very hard and the pillows were not supportive
The brick finish is too gloomy. I would plaster and paint one wall in a light colour
The access from the street great and the room was very cosy.
It was good as it was not to far to walk to the shops and take in the great sights in the town and its heritage.
It was close to the city centre, and clean and tidy. All the basic essentials were there such as a kettle, toaster, linen, heating etc It was warm and comfortable to come back to on a cold winter's day.
